Sharrow Dental Practice is a well-established mixed NHS and private dental practice with eight chairs on site. We are looking for a full time professional, capable call handler/receptionist to assist with patient bookings across all 3 of the practices.

Sharrow is the sister practice of Advent Dental Practice and Springfield Dental Care. Advent and Sharrow are within a 5 minute walk from each other on Moulsham Street, Chelmsford, whilst Springfield Dental Care is located in North Springfield.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Pleasant and patient manner with people and good understanding of what represents a positive customer/patient experience;
- Ability to multi-task - manning the phone while handling check-ins and payments;
- Resilience;
- Handles pressure of a fast-paced environment;
- Computer literate and capable of acquiring new skills and working with new software systems;
- Professional appearance;
- Attention to detail;
- Managing the private dentists diaries, including ensuring letters are written and sent as and when necessary.
- Manage treatment plans in the clinical software
- Follow up on enquiries

We firmly believe that this first interaction with the practice, whether it is over the phone or face-to-face, is essential to project a positive image of our practice.

Working hours are Monday-Friday from 08:00-17:45, with occasional weekends from 09:00-12:00.
