**Assistant Environmental Scientist/Consultant, **SOCOTEC, **£20-22K, Coventry**

To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Environment and Safety Division. SOCOTEC provides a comprehensive range of environmental monitoring and consultancy services to help companies fulfil their legal obligations and to comply with environmental regulations. Our expert field teams provide national coverage and tailored services including site investigation, sampling and analysis, monitoring, interpretation and consultancy. Our qualified and highly talented field consultants provide environmental analysis, environmental monitoring and consultancy services to assist clients in complying with legislation.

We’re looking for an Assistant Environmental Scientist/Consultant to join our environmental consultancy team working on contaminated land and waste and environmental management projects across a range of sectors. Typical activities for the role include:

- soil and water sampling
- supervision of ground investigation and remediation
- environmental monitoring
- factual and interpretative reporting across a range of technical disciplines
