We are currently recruiting for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant at our Bellfield Pharmacy.

You will be a key part of the pharmacy team, welcoming patients to the pharmacy, handling over-the-counter sales and providing advice under the support of the Pharmacist.

You will be flexible in your approach, be able to communicate effectively with our patients and other healthcare professionals and be willing to work towards your Healthcare Assistant Qualification. Further development opportunities will be available to progress your career in the pharmacy.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

- Welcome and assist patients
- Order and maintain stock
- Assess patient needs and clearly communicate with the pharmacist if required
- Process sales for over-the-counter treatment
- Advise on free NHS services and process requests for eligible patients
- Receive prescription orders
- Communicate with healthcare providers and patients

You will have:

- Basic computer skills
- Previous Pharmacy experience (desirable)
- Achieved or working towards Healthcare Assistant Qualification (desirable)
