**Application closing date**: 25-Oct-2025 **Fulfilment Supervisor Job Description** Location: Spa Terminus, Bermondsey, SE16 3AG **Summary** Seeking an exceptionally organised and responsible individual to manage the wholesale and online fulfilment operation at Food & Forest. The role will be based at the Bermondsey unit and requires someone capable of managing their own time to fulfil orders in the most efficient manner possible. In general, mornings will be spent fulfilling online and wholesale orders. The remainder of the time will be split between quality control, client management, and invoicing. Training will be given, though prior experience in these areas is desirable. This means ensuring the products are prepared and packaged ready for sale at the market. The Fulfilment Supervisor will work with the Manager and Director to create the most efficient fulfilment and dispatch process Full Time : 5 days per week - Monday-Friday 08.30-17.00 Salary : £33,000 pa Start Date : 20th or 27th October 2025 **Responsibilities** 1. Fulfilment and dispatch of wholesale and online orders 2. Client management; responding to orders and requests. 3. Follow and implement inventory and restock procedures using Excel, Google Calendar, and MS Word. 4. Ensuring compliance to all health and safety standards. 5. Manage the maintenance of warehouse equipment. 6. Manage the ordering for stock and warehouse sundries, liaise with farmers and producers to arrange deliveries and collections. 7. Package and preparation of retail products (100G, 200G, 325G) from the 10kg bulk volumes. 8. Sorting cobnuts during the harvest period. 9. Following training, to communicate the benefits of agroforestry and therefore the aims of the company. **Background** Food & Forest is a wholesale and retail quality nut supplies company specialising in British grown nuts. The company works to expand British nut agroforestry through market development, capacity building, and advocacy. In practice, that means investing directly into U.K. cobnut orchards and developing best practices for harvest and post harvest processing. We want this beneficial farming method to scale up and reach its full potential. An essential financial driver of this work is the Borough Market stall we operate daily. In operation since 2017, our presence has gone from strength to strength with a new production showcase opening in 2022, bringing the kitchen to the heart of the market. The proceeds from the market have led to investments in orchards in Kent, and into best-practice machinery to ensure British nut production has a viable future. Alongside this on-the-ground work, we advocate for the expansion of agroforestry by translating the academic evidence into operational policy. Central to this is consulting with Defra and other bodies on metrics to measure true value, as part of the nascent "public money for public good" paradigm shift in agricultural policy. Terms of Contract - permanent The contract begins with a 3 month-long probation period and a 1 month review - dated from the start date to be confirmed, during which the above key responsibilities described in points 1 to 9 are met. **Bonus System** **Bonus system is based on number of orders fulfilled per hour and volume of cobnuts sorted per hour. The bonuses are uncapped.** Sick Pay: Statutory sick pay given. Holiday Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday per year not including Bank Holidays. No more than 7 days holiday to be taken during the probation period.
