**Manager - Financial Crime Change Portfolio Management & Group Engagement**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

A contributor accountable for the delivery and execution of the strategic Financial Crime Compliance agenda in collaboration with the wider function and relevant business areas. Providing a second line of defence by supporting the MLRO in the execution oftheir oversight duties, by maintaining oversight of the Financial Crime change portfolio across the bank as well as supporting relationship management between 2LoD and Group FCC.

- Overseeing and contributing to reporting on the progress of the bank's financial crime change agenda, and the non-change agenda where it has financial crime implications.
- Identifying synergies and conflicts between the various change projects in the near and long term, and how this might impact the financial crime strategy.
- Taking responsibility for managing specific elements of the FCC 2LOD relationship with colleagues in Group FCC, as well as helping to define and execute an engagement strategy for the relationship.
- Working with 2LOD FCC policy and governance teams in absorbing changes to policy, strategic approach, technology and reporting requirements.
- Working with the Team Head in challenging proposals that are not in line with strategy or risk appetite.

**What you'll bring.**

We are looking for people who can help shape, influence and transform the bank's capabilities, ensuring we continue to disrupt financial crimes, and support and enable the right outcomes for our customers.
- Deep and/or a broad understanding of the financial services industry, the political and economic environment and strategy and initiatives.
- Substantial experience of working in an oversight role within second line financial crime function of a bank or at a consultancy, specialising in financial crime risk advisory.

**It would also be nice for you to have.**
- Ideally, experience in liaising with a Group entity, within the bank or other large financial institution.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of regulatory framework of UK and EU financial services, industry trends and best practice.
- Excellent analytical, interpretation, influencing and communication skills; with an ability to communicate and network effectively to influence management and external parties.
