Bristol, United Kingdom TVS Supply Chain Solutions Full time

**Role: Supply Chain Administrator**

**Contract type: Permanent, Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week**

**Purpose**:
TVS are operating as part of Team Leidos, a team of defence and logistics specialists, supporting a major transformation contract, providing an end-to-end supply chain service, delivering commodity and inventory savings to the UK Ministry of Defence.

Supply Chain Administrators are customer focussed; they manage the relationships with the military personnel who place orders for everything the military need. These commodities range across clothing, food, medicines, medical commodities, medical equipment, general stores, oils, lubricants, and gases.

Their role is to ensure that suppliers deliver the orders to agreed timescales and on a right first-time basis. They enable savings in the programme, providing savings to the end customer, the MOD, which makes a difference to the efficiency of our Armed Forces.

This is a hybrid role based at offices in Emersons’ Green at least one day a week, with the rest of the time working from home. This can change depending upon the demands of the contract, so you need to be comfortable with the commute should you need to be present in the office more frequently.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Supplier Relationship Management**
- Ensure Suppliers are operating in compliance to orders placed with them, that they follow process, provide the right information the first time and deliver on time and in full, to eliminate non-conformances with deliveries.

**Planning and Expediting**
- Raising purchase orders, resolving invoicing queries and chasing deliveries with suppliers.
- Monitor demand and provide proactive feedback on market conditions, potential supply issues and supplier performance.
- Work with the wider commodity team to manage parts obsolescence, supersession, and specification change.

**Customer relationship management**
- Offer technical advice as your knowledge of the commodities and markets increases over time.

**Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Supply Chain Administrators have excellent communication skills, great IT skills across the usual Microsoft packages but also SAP based purchasing systems.

In return for your hard work, we offer excellent career progression opportunities and a professional environment where you can acquire, use, and continue developing your skills.

Your package will include:

- 6% matched defined contribution pension scheme
- 25 Days Holiday (plus 8 statutory Bank Holidays)
- Holiday buy-back scheme (up to 5 days available in a holiday calendar year)
- Group life assurance policy that pays out 2 x your basic salary to your nominated beneficiaries in the event of your death.
- Employee Assistance Programme supporting wellness with 24/7 access to: GP consultation and second opinions, mental health support, financial and Legal support, wellbeing, and healthy living support
- Employee referral scheme with financial reward
- Professional Membership and Study Sponsorship
- Pass scheme (£100 to undertake training of your choice)

At TVS we encourage and support our employees to realise their potential. They are empowered to take initiative and achieve high impact results that really make a difference to our business and our customers.
