We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced operator to join the Irn Bru team based in Cumbernauld at a time when we are investing in replacing our production lines with new equipment to ensure our production is as efficient as possible. In this fast-paced and varied role, we’ll give you training and support needed to ensure you can excel at AG Barr

We have recently built a new state of the art process facility at our Cumbernauld site and as a result, an excellent opportunity has become available. This role is a permanent position to join a dynamic team supporting 4 high speed production lines and will be based in Cumbernauld.

This is a fast paced and varied role and given our extensive product range, no two days will be the same

One constant is our focus on safety - this is our number one priority. Process room experience or similar experience on a production line is essential, ideally within the drinks industry, although similar experience from other industries will be considered.

You will be responsible for the preparation of a vast range of soft drinks, covering all aspects of product make up from ingredient control and preparation, batch make up, ingredient mixing, product quality testing and management of the supply of finished product to 4 high speed packaging lines. Quality is at the heart of everything we do and you should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the principles of food safety and hygiene.

Working within a fast paced production environment where getting it ‘right first time, every time’ is essential, you will be a highly motivated individual who has good time management skills, the ability to learn quickly and to pass on that learning to your colleagues, have a positive flexible attitude and work well as part of a team.

Experience in working with Microsoft Office packages and a willingness to learn new skills is required, along with experience in basic fault finding on various valves, pumps, motors and sensors would be an advantage.
