A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Casework Coordinator to join a Local Charity Organisation to support in their Criminal Justice team based in their East Bristol offices.-This is a full-time, permanent role
- Salary of £22,440 - £23,812 per annum pro rata (depending on experience)
- Driving licence and access to own vehicle required
- Location: East Bristol Offices with travel to other South Gloucestershire areas with some remote home working.
- Some on-call hours are required (however this is less than 1 in 4 weeks per month) - an extra £100 per on-call week is offered for this.

**The Casework Coordinator role**:
Day to day responsibility for managing referrals, assessing and supporting clients in a way that allows them to maintain accommodation and make positive changes in their life.
Key duties include:

- Develop effective and productive relationships with key partner agencies such as National Probation Service, Police and other criminal justice and generic support services that facilitate production of multi-agency support planning.
- Complete needs assessment/risk assessment for clients leading to the delivery of key elements of support plans which meet individual client need and reduce re-offending.
- Co-ordinate and deliver meaningful occupation opportunities for clients.
- Maintain client records that are accurate and fully updated
- Ensure all new clients moving into the service understand their rights and responsibilities and the conditions of their license agreement and have a valid Housing Benefit claim in place.
- Comply with and implement Health and Safety policies, ensuring all checks take place and are recorded.

**The Successful Casework Coordinator Applicant**:

- Experience as a Support Worker supporting vulnerable adults is essential
- Ideally a knowledge of the criminal justice system, prison leaver resettlement and or Housing Options process.
- Understanding of Benefits and Housing Benefits system
- Experienced in assessing of needs and case management
- Be able to build effective relationships with people with complex needs as well as specialist community services.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
