Bluestones staffing is working with DFDs Logistics in Duncrue to recruit warehouse operatives for their chilled warehouse working nightshift

Part-time and Full-time hours available to suit your needs.

Hours 19:30pm to 03:30am

Locations: Duncrue

Hourly Rate: £10.20 - ( Due to increase ) after 12 weeks nightshift and overtime allowance

Duties**:The Role**Warehouse Operative based at DFDS Logistics in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and fast paced, growing business. The role is reporting to the Shift Manager and Team Leader and will involve all aspects of the warehousing process, including receipt of goods, picking, assembling, and loading customer orders. Use of Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) and customer specific Warehouse Management Systems will be integral to the role. Focus on providing a high level of customer service whilst acting in accordance with legislative requirements and company policy.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Receive, pick, assemble & load orders, & transship, in line with customer requirements, depot KPIs & agreed performance and quality standards
- Work accurately and handle customer stock with care and consideration to minimize damages and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Operation of customer specific Warehouse Management Systems
- Work to pre-determined customer schedules ensuring loads are prepared in a timely manner
- Adhere to instructions and training guidelines regarding manual handling and the use of MHE, including pre-operational checks, reporting of defects, and the safe use and operation of all equipment
- Conduct tasks and activities in accordance with health & safety, food hygiene practices and environmental procedures
- Work in a temperature-controlled environment, ensuring stock is checked on receipt and stored at the correct temperature
- Work in a team environment and supporting other team members, treating all with dignity and respect
- Complete operational documents appropriately and in a timely manner
- Carry out any other duties and reasonable management requests

**Essential Criteria**

**1 year minimum warehouse experience required**

**Experience working in a food distrubution company would be advantgeous**
