Night Machinist

The Hiring Heroes are proud to be working alongside a prestigious têxtile business who are well known and well respected for their high quality products and customer service. The hours for this roles are working straight nights 10.15pm-6:15am Monday to Friday paying £11.16 p/h starting wage (40 hours per week). After full training the pay on this role will be in the region of £12.30 p/h The main purpose of this role is: - Set, operate and perform basic maintenance of production machines. - Working in the "Take off" area of the factory, removing the product from the production line and packaging. - Ensure the quality of the product coming of the lines is to company standard. - Changing of blades on machine that are used to cut material. - Perform inspections of material produced. - Ensure machines run at capacity to keep up with customer orders. - Report any serious faults to the senior shift manager. - Clean down of machines. - Inputting of speeds/capacity of product into machine. - Handover to the next shift so efficient production runs take place. This role would be ideal for someone from a machining background not necessarily from têxtiles but any manufacturing industry.
