You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and must have excellent organisational and time management skills.
Job Title: Band 5 or 6 Occupational Therapist
- Location: Salford
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
- Shift Pattern: 8am - 4pm
- Specific Skills:
- The role is to work to work in the Greater manchester Aging & Complex Medical Team
- A good knowledge of OT equipment & have moving & handling skills.
- Cognitive and psycho-social assessment skills required.
- Must be able to work at pace completing holistic patient assessments to facilitate hospital discharge or identify the need for ongoing rehabilitation.
- The Occupational Therapist will be supported by a large team of OT's & Physio's consisting of bands' 7, 6 & 5.
- To work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, coordinating discharge and taking an active role in case conference / planning meetings.
**Requirements**:
- HCPC Registration.
- NHS experience is desirable.
