Due to an increased workload of new and exciting projects, we have an excellent opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our team in Sheffield.

**ROLE**

To work with our architectural team designing and developing projects from the concept stage through to handover of the completed building.

**DEVELOPING THE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN**

Develop ideas, concept design sketches and precedent boards.

Work within an architectural team to realise design proposals in a drawn format utilising ArchiCAD.

Work with a Visualiser culminating in 3D visualisations of the project.

Assist with the compilation of Feasibility Study reports.

Attend Design Team Meetings (DTMs) and site meetings with the Project Leader. Record minutes and prepare associated documentation.

Attend Client project meetings with the Project Leader to present architectural designs.

**PREPARING DETAIL DESIGN AND PRODUCTION INFORMATION**
- Contribute to the detailed design process and help co-ordinate detailed design information with other design disciplines.
- Attend DTMs and site meetings with the Project Leader. Record minutes and prepare associated documentation.
- Help to prepare drawings, plans and documents for statutory approvals eg Building Regulations.
- Contribute to the design-stage risk assessments.

**CONSTRUCTION ON SITE**
- Make site visits with the Project Leader and record findings of site inspections.
- Attend DTMs and site meetings with the Project Leader. Record minutes and prepare associated documentation.
- As required by the Contractor, help the Project Leader to prepare and present construction drawings/details using ArchiCAD.
- Assist the Project Leader to respond to the Contractors' requests for Information.

**PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE**

Maintain a Professional Experience and Development Record (PEDR) with monthly mentoring by the Bond Project Leader.
