Ward are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in Ilkeston. You will be part of a hardworking team of employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will carry out a range of duties across the site, principly driving the bucket to move material.

**Hours**

Monday to Friday between 07.00 am - 17.00 pm. Please note that occasional weekend work may be required and overtime will be paid at a higher rate.

**Requirements**:

- Operate bucket & shovel and other plant in a safe, competent manner
- Monitor materials and report and non-acceptable material items
- Reform material pile to ensure most effective grab volume
- Maintain clean and safe work environment

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
