We are well established family run firm trading for over 50 years in the Repair & Maintenance sector. We are based in Hoyland Common, Barnsley S74 and are less than 5 mins from junction 36 of the M1.

Due to our expanding business we have the opportunity available for an enthusiastic mechanic to join our team on a full time basis and work with us on a range of vehicles from vans and light goods vehicles to heavy goods vehicles and trailers. The job role includes carrying out safety inspections, defect repairs, servicing, fault finding using the latest diagnostics equipment and M.O.T preparation.

D H Armitage pride ourselves on looking after our staff and understand the need of a work/life balance. which is why although overtime is available as and when requested we tend to keep our working week to a Monday - Friday basis to give our staff the weekend to wind down and relax.

Rates of pay negotiable based on qualification and experience

Class 1 license preferred but not essential

**Salary**: £24,570.00-£49,400.00 per year

Additional pay:
