Production Operative

Previous experience not required
Monday to Friday (Full time hours)
06:00 - 14:30 - £12 per hour basic, £16.80 above 38.75 hrs
06:45 - 16:30 - 12.50 per hour basic, £17.50 above 45 hours
14:30 - 22:30 - 12.50 per hour basic, £17.50 above 38.75 hours
Temporary to permanent after 12 weeks
Kingdom People are recruiting for several food production operatives to work at one of our client’s sites in Westerleigh near Bristol (BS37 8QZ). The customer is a leading meat processing plant (pork) that operates in chilled and ambient temperatures. This is an abattoir/packing lines environment.

**The role**:
Production Operatives will be expected to do the following tasks (list is not exhaustive):
Checking that the product matches the packaging
Slicing meat
Packing meat on production line and in warehouse
Following site rules and procedures
Filling in paperwork if required
Quality control of products
Reporting issues to team leader
Manual handling will be required
**Requirements**:
Production Operatives ideally need to fulfil the following requirements:
Be able to work 8 or 11 hr shift
Previous experience is not required
Being able to commute to Westerleigh, BS37 8QZ (public transport available from Bristol and Yate)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
