**Payroll Co-ordinator**

Reporting into the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the payroll from end to end

Key Responsibilities:

- Processing the Company’s monthly payroll for 275 employees
- Maintain the payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
- Processing New Starters/Leavers
- Processing holiday, SSP, SMP and SPP
- A good understanding of PAYE/NIC
- Answering staff queries about wages, deductions etc
- Processing sickness and other absences in line with company policies
- Handling changes in job status and job titles
- Collating and processing overtime payments and payroll deductions
- Good knowledge of Pension schemes and auto enrolment
- Adhering to payroll policies and be up to date with payroll legislation
- Processing of tax year end and annual reporting including P11Ds
- Supporting the finance team with any other ad hoc duties that are required

The successful applicant will have experience of managing end to end payroll processes and will possess:

- Experience of managing end to end payroll processes
- Sage 50 cloud payroll experience (essential)
- Payroll (3 years minimum)
- Competent in using Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and exercise own initiative
- Strong Excel skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Salary £28,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience)

- 5 days a week 40 hours per week
- Flexible Working hours to be agreed

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Sage 50 Cloud payroll: 1 year (required)
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)
- Payroll: 3 years (required)
