**Who are we**

Horizon Care & Education are looking for a creative and innovative Registered Practitioner, Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist, to join our passionate team, delivering a comprehensive consultation lead therapeutic service for children in our care. This role involves providing support and oversight to teams in education.

This is a home-based role, from where you will regularly visit to our Schools in the region of Croydon to conduct consultations and provide support to teams and carry out assessments with the young people. This role will also support with ongoing need and risk issues and some scope for therapeutic interventions where appropriate.

Delivery of training is an important aspect of the role. At Horizon we train all our staff in our Shine Therapeutic model which includes DDP/PACE therapeutic parenting.

What you’ll get to do
- Manage your own caseload of schools to provide high levels of support and consultation for operational colleagues
- Provide psychological advice and guidance to teams to enable them to support young people throughout their journey with Horizon
- To be responsible for assessments, formulation and recommendations for psychological support for your own caseload.
- To develop and contribute to the delivery of therapeutic and psychological training to all staff in the organisation as part of the Therapeutic Academy.

- **What we’re looking for from you**_
- Experience of working with Children and Young People or relevant demonstrable transferable skills
- A desire to support services through embedding therapeutic practice
- Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision.
- Ability to engage individuals in the consultancy or therapeutic process.
- Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Ability to work autonomously with the support from individual and peer supervision
- Ability to role model behaviours and attitudes in line with organisational values
- A sound understanding of Microsoft Office components, including knowledge of Excel, Teams and SharePoint
- Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle
