**Java Architect - Security Cleared (INSIDE IR35)** Lorien Global have partnered up with a Global IT service provider. We are actively recruiting a security cleared Java Architect to work on a 6 month contract. **This role will be working remotely with mínimal travel, if required to South-end or Telford.** **Role Purpose**: **Key Accountabilities**: - You will work closely with the customer to understand strategic direction and to identify and respond to opportunities to further engage in transformation activities and in doing so, will bring the best of the wider Fujitsu and market thinking to bear.As a default operating mode, you'll demonstrate an improvement mindset i.e. "If it ain't broke, fix it anyway and make it better". **Key experience required**: - Experienced in working in Agile environments including attendance and participation in agile ceremonies, including estimation (and associated tooling JIRA, Confluence etc) - Ability to deal with a diverse technology stack (including legacy OS and Apps stack) and not challenged by unfamiliar technologies - in fact you will be intrigued by unfamiliarity and positive about learning new skills - Demonstrable technical experience in working with cloud environments (experience and certification of Public Cloud e.g. AWS and/or Azure, to architect level is advantageous) - You will have a passion for scripting / programming languages such as Java/J2EE, Oracle/PLSQL, Python, React, NodeJS, Go, C#, Shell Scripting A valid security clearance is required for this role.
