We're looking for a pool of Residential Support Workers to work in our children's homes across Northumberland

**Job Title**: Residential Support Worker
**Salary**: £24,294 - £25,979 (Single Premium Rate £2491-£2664 and Market Force Allowance of £5,000 per annum payable in addition to the basic salary)
**Job Location**: Various locations across Northumberland
Various Shift Patterns Available (Day Shift and Night Shift)

**The Role**:
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll be working with young people aged 10 to 17, many of whom have experienced significant trauma. You'll create an environment of reflection, personal attention, and specialist help. Your role is crucial in helping young people develop the values, skills, knowledge, self-control, and direction they need to thrive.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide exceptional care and support to young people in secure accommodation.
- Help young people develop life skills, social skills, and self-control.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable young people.
- Support young people in their education and personal development.
- Encourage positive behaviour and personal growth.
- Participate in training and development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
**Requirements**:
- Good general education.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training up to Level 3/4 Children and Young People’s Workforce Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Compassion, patience, and resilience.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
