Apprentice Host

Are you passionate about hospitality and eager to start a career in the food and beverage industry? We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Apprentice Host to join our team at the McIntyre Centre and learn the ropes while gaining a nationally recognised qualification, level 2 in Food and Beverage.

As an Apprentice Host, you will be the welcoming face of our venue, gaining experience in front of house duties such as greeting guests, taking orders, supporting service delivery and meeting the food and drink service standards. You will also assist across the centre with setting up rooms, basic administration, and providing a friendly, professional welcome to learners, visitors and external partners.

**Key information**

**Grade**: £7.55 per hour (Apprentice National Minimum Wage). After the first year, wage will go up to NMW for those aged 19+

**Hours**:37 hours per week, temporary position for 12 to 15 months

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
