**Controls Testing & Execution - BUK Tester**
**Glasgow**

As a Barclays Controls Testing & Execution - BUK Tester, you will work across 1LoD Business Units and Functions providing management with informed opinion on the effectiveness of controls they operate to mitigate material risks. This is a mid-senior level role which will involve working with a wide variety of stakeholders across CCO, Business Units and Functions as well as Risk teams and Internal Audit which could provide development opportunities in the future.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Undertaking planning and executing controls testing as directed and with mínimal supervision
- Producing written documentation detailing the testing performed, along with the results, in line with quality and timeline expectations
- Representing the Controls Testing & Execution team and contribute positively in meetings with stakeholders
- Working in partnership with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure Controls Testing is undertaken efficiently with minimum impact

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience in one or more of the following - Internal/External Audit, Operational Risk Management, or Risk and Control related discipline
- A good understanding of risk and control assessment techniques
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation and excellent Excel skills

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Specialist Risk and/or Control-related qualification - formal accreditation/qualification relating to audit, risk and/or control
- Knowledge of the Financial Services regulatory environment
- Data analytics and report writing experience would be an advantage
