**Job Title: Deputy Head of Centre**
**Location**: Clarence Chambers, Pontypool. NP4 6XP.
**Salary**: Competitive, with annual performance-based salary increases and a generous annual bonus
**Contract**: Full time
**Start Date**: Monday 19th May 2025

**The role**:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced **Deputy Head of Centre** to support the leadership and daily running of our centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to helping children grow in confidence and achieve academic success.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Delivering outstanding tuition tailored to students’ individual needs
- Leading by example and supporting the Head of Centre in staff management and development
- Building strong, respectful relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Supporting students with additional learning needs (ALN) through adaptable teaching strategies
- Promoting excellent behaviour and a positive learning environment
- Using initiative and working independently in a highly professional manner
- Maintaining excellent organisation and time management in a fast-paced setting
**We’re looking for someone who is**:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certified
- Enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing
- Passionate about supporting the academic and personal development of every student
- Experienced in managing behaviour and creating inclusive learning environments
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Super-organised, efficient, and capable of balancing multiple responsibilities
- Committed to continuous improvement and student outcomes
- Experienced in leadership (desirable but not essential)
