**Architectural Technologist**

Robinson’s Property Team have an exciting opportunity for an Architectural technologist to provide experienced support to the Property Investment Team acting as technical lead for projects from inception through to completion including preparing drawings, specifications, tender and construction information and obtaining all necessary statutory consents.

**Key duties**

Working as an integral collaborative member of the investment team carrying out the duties expected of a competent qualified Architectural Technologist. Such duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Accurately establish requirements for each project.
- Identify the surveys required before work can commence,
- Understand how the design aspects of the investment project influence and relate to performance and functional issues,
- Review project documentation for inconsistencies and quality control evaluations.
- Engage with the maintenance team to understand repair liabilities that might impact a project and ensure these are addressed.
- Coordinate and maintain project programme..
- Oversee the construction phase of the project. Administer the building contract. Act as client representative throughout.
- Ensure close-out documentation and project archives are completed in a timely manner and handed back to the Area Surveyor.
- Establish strong and credible relationships with the Operations and Maintenance teams and wider customer base and actively influence and create buy-in from all parties.
- To ensure that all tasks are carried out in a safe working manner in accordance with Company Health and Safety Policy and safe working practices.

**Requirements**:

- Full UK driving licence and use of own car.
- HNC or equivalent in architectural technology, architecture, or closely related field.
- Excellent two-dimensional AutoCAD skills.
- Experience in a retail-orientated property role as an Architectural Technologist including catering kitchen design.
- Exceptional communicator, able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Experience of managing consultants and contractors and building relationships with multi-disciplinary teams

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
