We have a fantastic opportunity available, for an experienced Cleaning Operative to join our dynamic team here at Barry. We want your passion and enthusiasm, to help deliver a first-class service.

The MSS Group are seeking a reliable individual, who can provide general cleaning and maintain our customer focused approach.

**Job Purpose**
- To provide cleaning of areas around site
- To deliver contractual obligations in accordance with client expectations

**Accountabilities**
- To understand the areas of work
- Comply with COSHH regulations
- Provide general cleaning duties which may involve a variety of areas including but not limited to offices, meeting rooms, toilets, staff canteen areas.
- Provide specialist cleaning of areas that require decontamination.
- The cleaning methods used will involve but not limited to cleaning, washing, sanitizing, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuum cleaning.
- There may also be the requirement to use specialist PPE.
- To have a customer focused approach to the role, where the principal aim is to provide a welcoming and supportive service to the client, providing solutions rather than problems.
- To present yourself in a professional, approachable, and helpful manner always, in terms of both image and attitude.
- To work well under pressure
- Cleaning of high footfall area
- Cleaning rest rooms
- Cleaning corridors
- Cleaning offices
- Experience in COSHH regulations is essential.
- Must be organised, proactive with good attention to detail and a team worker.
- Decontamination and disposal of contaminated equipment.

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**

**Essential**
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations
- Experience in cleaning
- Fit and Healthy (ability to operate while wearing respiratory protection)

**Desirable**
- Organised.
- Attention to detail.
- Team worker.
- Customer focused.
- Valid Driver’s license.
