**About the role**

Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) are looking for a Web Digital Producer to join our busy Digital Engagement team to create and manage web content production and development of the corporate website.
You will work with the Web Content Manager to help deliver our objectives, attracting, engaging with, and serving our visitors’ on-site and online requirements, and increasing recognition and understanding of our stories in the wider world. Your role will playan important part in both inspiring our visitors and increasing our revenue. The ability to work collaboratively across departments, and to work under pressure to tight deadlines is required.
You will be responsible for reviewing and managing the website mailbox, writing engaging web copy and optimising content for search engines, and will be able to use best practice principles of writing for the web, adapting your language style and tone for differentaudiences.

**About you**
You will be a self-motivated team player with strong editorial and writing skills, and deep knowledge and understanding of HTML, Photoshop, SEO and accessibility standards. You will have experience in online UX best practice alongside analysing performancedata to inform UX and content development.
You will be experienced in working with content management systems, able to support trained CMS editors, troubleshoot website/CMS issues and train new editors where required. You will have the ability to confidently explain technical information to non-technicalstakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you must have creative flair and excellent digital project management and content production skills. You will have the ability to evaluate briefs and translate objectives into clear, imaginative solutions to engage our audiences. Experienceof supplier and partnership management, Agile methodology and the production of digital assets are important.
We have adopted a hybrid model of part working from home and part working from site - we are open to discussing what best works for individuals and their work life balance whilst also delivering the business requirements.
