Probation Support Worker

This charity has a track record for looking after their staff (investors in people / best company to work for awards). And they always provide opportunities for growth where they can (we have placed numerous people in this role who have progressed intosenior posts).
You will be working across 4 probation trusts, providing support to the team to cover excess referrals, sickness and annual leave.The locations you will be covering would be Swindon, Cheltenham, Bristol, and Bath.Mileage is paid for from your base officeequivalent (i.e., if your most local office is Swindon which is 10 miles away, but you travel from home to Bristol which is 20 miles away, you would get paid 10 miles of mileage).
You will work with a caseload of ex-offenders to provide support around areas such as employment, housing, debt advice, training, education, or drug and alcohol support. Meeting your clients on a regular basis to support them to progress.
You will be great with people. Able to manage paperwork (lots of it). And being super organised (diary skills are key).You must have experience relevant to the role, such as previously working as a Prison Officer, Support Worker, Employment Advisor, ResettlementOfficer, Hostel Worker, Key Worker, or Drug & Alcohol Support Worker.Or you might be a criminology graduate (With some voluntary or paid experience working with vulnerable adults) looking for their first step on the career ladder.
