**About the Crown Prosecution Service**

At the Crown Prosecution Service, we prosecute criminal cases that have been investigated by the police and other law enforcement agencies in England and Wales. We employ over 7,000 people who think objectively, act professionally, show the upmost respect for others and continually strive for excellence.

Our counter terrorism division is a specialist unit dedicated to prosecuting terrorism crimes and terrorist related offences. We work with specialist police units on cases including terrorism, incitement to racial and religious hatred, war crimes and crimes against humanity, official secrets cases, piracy and hijacking.
