As a Community Support worker you will provide support for people to enable them to live in in the community and to achieve their potential for independence. Flexibility will be needed to meet the changing needs of the service users as well as building a good professional working relationship with service users, families, other professionals, agencies and members of the community. We are offering variable hours to suit your personal circumstances. Alternative weekend is a must. *Key responsibilities:*
- To promote choice in the delivery of care and support. Reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the individuals’ experience. Enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely by the individual and/or their representatives
- To participate openly and honestly in any investigation regarding care delivery
- To provide a high standard of personal care to service users in a sensitive and respectful manner
- To monitor the physical and emotional well-being of all service users in order to be aware of changes and to alert senior colleagues as necessary
- To work with therapists/team members to ensure optimum cognitive, social, emotional, physical and functional recovery
- To ensure that rehabilitation goals, strategies and procedures are implemented and reinforced throughout the 24 hour period
- To assist in maintaining morale of service users s by communication and contact - achieved by talking and working with them *Skills & experience required:*
- Willing to undertake Diploma.
- Care delivery experience an advantage
- Numerate and literate
- Skilled in interacting with all types of people

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-36 per week

**Salary**: Up to £12.00 per hour
