We are currently looking to recruit upto 6 Residential Support Workers who are looking for new and exciting opportunities to provide Residential Care & Support to our Young People. We aim to go the extra mile for our Young People and are working hard to provide Emotional Literacy and a Therapeutic, Nurturing Environment which our Young People can feel Safe, Wanted and at Home

Our employees will work under the coordination of our Company Director and Registered Manager. This role itself is to work across our Company in the following services:

- Residential Children's Home, Multi Building (11-18years), EBD

We are searching for staff that hold a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent. We will consider applicants without. Our Company is a new company working towards influencing the way in which Residential Care and Support is provided.

Rates of Pay:
£218.50 per 24 shift.

£10.50 - £11.50 a hour, £50.00 sleep in rate. (This is currently under review for increase)

Flexible rota including block shifts.

Pay is available through PAYE and also through Self Employed.

Job Role:
Your main duties will be to:

- Provide the highest possible level of Support to our Young People, Ensuring Safeguarding is your main priority.
- To build positive and profesional relationships with our Young People recognising their abilities and being part of a team that works to give Young People the ability to cope, manage and progress with their Emotions and Behaviours. Promoting a higher standard to improve Quality Life.
- To manage the day to day running of the property whilest observing the Young People, recording professionally alined with the requirements set out by the Local Authorities and Governong Bodies.
- To work at times alone but become a vital character within our team. To give input when needed, working towards the best support worker you can be Flexible attitude and commitment is a must.
- To work towards the relivent qualifications if not already and show interest in higher qualifications.
- To be a part of an enthusiastic team, with imagination and character, working towards providing the best experiences realistically possible for the Young People trapped in the Care System.
- Liaise with external professionals ensuring the Young People receive the highest levels of support from outside of the company.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dewsbury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
