Long term position part time or full-time

This is an amazing opportunity has come up in an outstanding SEND School in Runcorn for a 1:1 tutor to join them on a long-term basis. If you are looking for a school where you can really make a difference this is the position for you.

You would be supporting pupils with SEN pupils from a special school setting who are on a EHCP and have a wide range of complex SEND needs such as (SEMH, Mental Health, ASD, ADHD)

The school is Chester and they specialists in supporting young people with complex needs such ASD and SEMH. The school are looking to appoint a 1:1 Tutor, that would like to support young people’s learning on a one-to-one basis.

This role would be based within the school setting you would be expected to deliver education to secondary aged pupils which range from 11- 16 years. Planning isn’t required for this role as all planning would be provided.

As a Tutor you will be supporting the young people by building up their life skills and helping young people learn to develop on a 1:1 basis, giving them confidence and reassurance to flourish within their next steps of Education.

The ideal Tutor will be able to understand the national curriculum and provide children with alternative learning and a tailored education. Full training and guidance will be given to you in this position.

To be successful in this role you must have the following:
Have experience supporting young people on a one-to-one basis either as a Teaching Assistant or Tutor.

Be able to build rapport with children and encourage them to learn

Have a creative approach to your teaching style.

Clear communication both written and verbal
