**What will you be doing as a General Assistant?**
- Merchandising
- Stock replenishment following correct procedures
- Taking responsibility for the zone that you work in; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
- Supporting other departments as required
- Answering Customer Queries

**What do you need to be a General Assistant?**
- Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
- Initiative and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good time management as you will be working at speed
- Good attention to detail and careful precision to meet targets
- Able to work quickly and to deadlines
- Fork Lift Truck experience is **essential **for this role
- Confidence using handheld computerised tills and barcode scanners
- Excellent customer service skills

**What’s on offer?**
- Rate of pay: £6.84 to £9.84 + opportunities for overtime
- **40 **hours per week
- There are a variety ofshift patterns available to work in this role which cover the depots opening & closing times

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £6.84-£9.84 per hour
