Marketing Executive

We are looking to recruit a **Marketing Executive** into our team, based out of our Wakefield office on an 18-month fixed term basis.

**The Opportunity**

This is a fabulous opportunity to join a multi-award-winning marketing team in an innovative company, at an exciting and transformational time.

Ideal for someone with c2 years’+ experience, working towards or with a professional marketing qualification, or equivalent in experience. You will have a broad range of skills and knowledge and be able to demonstrate your experience in executing both online and offline campaigns, whilst managing workload and priorities.

If you are keen to continue to grow and develop amongst a highly-skilled team of marketing professionals, in friendly fast-paced and collaborative environment, then this is the role for you.

You must have good communication and listening skills, an understanding of digital marketing trends and techniques, and you will have previously worked on campaign delivery. You will have creative design skills and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, being able to create artwork that is print and web ready.

As travel is sometimes required, a driving license would be beneficial but not essential.

You will support the Head of Marketing Communications and the other Senior/Marketing Executives in delivering the team’s marketing plans, providing ideas and input in your areas of specialism, measuring and improving activity and performance.

**The Team**

The Marketing Department is an influential dynamic and creative team of 19 people split across Product Marketing, Marketing Communications and Marketing Operations. Responsible for launching new products and services, supporting our Sales Channels, and creating customer campaigns and initiatives.

The Marketing Communications Team ensure that the Sharp brand is presented correctly and deliver a wide range of strategic and tactical communications activity in support of our sales effort and success.

**Key responsibilities**
- Design and produce engaging marketing collateral/content in line with brand guidelines to enhance customer perception
- Understand the Communications strategy and plan, and deliver those aspects allocated to you, reporting regularly on their effectiveness
- Support the delivery of major initiatives, campaigns, and projects, keeping the project lead briefed at all times
- Support the planning and delivery of internal and external events
- Utilise and maintain the marketing systems and tools as per the agreed processes
- Work with external agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver activities as per brief

Develop relationships across the business to ensure an understanding of each area, their goals, and objectives

**Requirements**:

- Circa 2 years marketing experience
- Good listening and communications skills
- Marketing qualification or working towards one
- Experience delivering digital content and campaigns on time to required standard
- Design and copywriting skills (either or both)
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
