Your new role
- Support the management and monitoring of investments ensuring that treasury management rules are complied with
- To ensure the service is delivered in line with the service delivery plan
- Play a key role in identifying changes in the operating environment, trends & developments of legislation, technology policy and user requirements
- Liaising with Treasury Management service to provide advice on investment which demonstrates depth of knowledge, expertise and customer focus and be responsible for the provision of cashflow management
- Responsible for budget setting, budget monitoring, variance analysis for actuals and forecasts
- Provide finance training where and if required
- Update and report on quantified financial risks and opportunities in the service area supported, advising how the risks can be mitigated and the opportunities exploited
What you'll need to succeed
- Part qualified or AAT qualified
- Accounting experience
- Experience of projects involving innovation and the management of change
- Involvement in major transformation projects
- Experience developing meaningful, trusted and positive stakeholder relationships
