We are searching for an **Account Director**to support our Transport division to provide the highest-level strategic point of contact for a large contract. The **Account Director**will direct and support a team ofOperations Managers to produce maximum returns. This will involve field accompaniment to drive the performance of operations and contract support staff, close analysis of the business and productionof operating strategies for each contract.

As **Account Director** you will be responsible for:
- To act as the main point of contact for senior members of allocated contracts developing and maintaining relationships at senior level.
- Ensure consistency of high Service Delivery and high KPI scores, across the entire portfolio of all allocated contracts.
- To achieve regional annual operating profits, gross revenues and stock exception targets as set down and agreed with the OD / MD in the annual budget.
- Conducting Annual Reviews of contract, incorporating innovation and customer satisfaction at all levels
- Ensure Operational activities are regularly reported, contingency plans discussed, problems identified and decisions offered.
- To attend quarterly meetings with all senior points of contact, to lead meetings, ensure all necessary stakeholders are present and correct reporting is in place.
As **Account Director** you will have the following expertise and attributes:
- Confident and concise ability to communicate with Director and MD level clients.
- Proactive, ability to identify possible drops in service at early stages, to eliminate major dips in service occurring.
- Flexible management style.
- Able to develop your management team both formally and informally by instructing groups as well as coaching and mentoring individuals.
- Proven experience of managing managers and the ability to coach and mentor managers, who are experiencing difficulties.
- Able to develop oneself in terms of identifying own needs, requesting training and using available work
- based resources for self-development.
- Commercial analysis and resolution proposing capability
- Marketing, analysis, creation and implementation.
- Experience with acquisitions and integration.
