**Role**: Head of Quality Assurance

**Unit**: DEVELOPMENT

**Role Mission**: Bug free and user friendly HFT exchange.

**Details**:

- **Story**: Make sure that LATOKEN has the highest possible Quality Assurance processes, allowing the requirements from our Clients to be fully met, and the different products are working as designed.
- **
Goal**:Minimise downtime because of bugs to 0% and raise trading API success rate up to 100% at 100k tps.
- How:

- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents.
- Organize the design and development of test plans.
- Organize the tools and the team to automatize QA testing.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Coordinate**: Create workshops, explain processes, ensure cross-unit communication, cross-unit pollination.
- **
Acceptance Processes**: Create acceptance testing processes, using performance
- and regression testing.
- **
Support Releases**: Monitor the running (pre-)releases, checking for bugs, faulty parameters and unclear processes.
- **
Uptime**: Exchange is 99.999% of time available and downtime is well planned and explained to users.
- **
Grow Team**: Ensure meritocracy and growth of top talent: interview, hire, onboard, mentor, promote or fire.
- **
Vision**: Know and explain to teammates how their stories build great product. Have a backlog vision for 3-6-60 months.
- **
Report**: Set alerts, monitor and report key platform metrics: downtime, latency, other performance metrics.
- **
Research**: Take the best which the industry has, and improve it by research and development (in API, processes, products, benchmarks, etc.).
- **
Create QA Processes**: Create the cross-unit processes allowing releases to be consistent and bug-free.

**Requirement skills and experience**:

- 3+ years experience in testing trading platforms.
- 2+ years leading a cross unit QA team.
- Experience in designing test plans and testing scenarios for trading products.
- Solid knowledge of:

- test design principles and techniques.
trading terminology and processes.
- Experience in working with relational DBs and SQL querying tools.
- Experience in reading logs and investigating issues root cause.
- Ability to successfully identify key metrics for product quality.
- Customer-focused and problem-solving skills.

**Will be a strong plus**:

- Experience as a trader in banking or finance.
- Knowledge of Git / Java core 8+ / kubernetes / rancher / Grafana dashboards.
- Graduated from top university.
- Participant in regional level of olympiad competitions or other relevant QA certificates.
