Education World are working in partnership with schools across Redcar and surrounding areas who are seeking cover supervisors/unqualified teachers, to support on both day
- to
- day and on a short term basis.
As a Cover Supervisor you will be responsible for managing a class of students across KS3 & KS4, carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence. Although you will not be actively teaching it is important that cover supervisors have the relevant skills and confidence needed to keep the class motivated and focused.

- Be qualified to degree level (desirable)
- Basic understanding of the national Key Stage Curriculum
- Knowledge of child development and learning
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to cover a wide range of lessons
- Confidence to manage a class of mixed ability pupils
- Strong behaviour management skills
- DBS on the update service or willing to undertake a new check
