**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared safely and hygienically.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a barista or food service role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

We are also a shop /deli so an interest in working in the deli is advantageous

Ability to work Saturday and Sundays as and when required. Core shifts will be Saturdays. With regular Sunday shifts.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £7.50-£12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 13 per week
