Kennel Hand

Cliffe Kennels is a family owned busy working kennels offering Rescue, Boarding facilities and stray kennels.

We are looking for a hard working, dedicated and committed new member to join our team.

Suitable applicants will have the following.
- Experience of working with different breeds of dogs in a kennel environment
- A passion and understanding of dogs.
- Keen to work and be a committed member of the team
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Have the ability to listen and follow instructions.
- NVQ or similar preferred but not essential.
- Training to NVQ standard is available.
- A good understanding of English both written and oral is needed.
- Be friendly & approachable with customers
- Have held a Full clean UK Manual driving licence for over 1 year.

The successful applicant must be able to work as part of the team with trust built with the other team members.

The role is varied and interesting if you have a passion for dogs. It will involve cleaning, feeding, walking & playing with the dogs as well as transport runs to collect dogs and take to vets.

Helping adopters by discussing the dogs with them and ensuring the dogs and adopters are well matched.

Keeping clear records for the dogs & preparing adoption paperwork.

2 nights a week on call for which a bonus is paid and alternate weekends

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
