**Warehouse & Delivery Operative**

At Wilson Washroom Services we specialise in providing a top quality service to the Washroom Facilities of our thousands of clients across the UK.

Our company is owner managed and we pride ourselves on the “family” feel we have built within our business over the past 19 years. We’re delighted to be adding to our “family” with the appointment of a new Warehouse/Delivery Operative to support our business. This is a key role within our operation and offers a great variety of work and autonomy to the successful individual. In essence, you would be a valued addition to our Head Office team, assisting in managing the smooth operation of the warehouse and ensuring orders are delivered to our valued customers.

We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, has good attention to detail with the ability to work with internal colleagues and our wide client base. You’ll be personable with great communication skills and with a current clean UK driving licence.

Your main responsibilities will be:
Supplier Deliveries
- Receiving and checking off supplier deliveries including using a pallet truck to move pallets into and around the warehouse
- Reporting shortages/damages to line manager
- Packing supplier deliveries away in the warehouse

Customer deliveries
- Picking customer deliveries to match delivery notes
- Loading delivery van
- In periods of holiday/absence also delivering in our own vehicle orders to our customers and returning all completed paperwork to head office

Warehouses
- Ensuring all warehouse stock is stored appropriately
- Ensuring warehouses are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Liaising with line manager to advise of stock requirements
- Liaising with other operational staff for stock requirements for their vans
- Assisting in annual stock takes
- Checking, cleaning and storing on racking equipment returned from expiry of contracts

This is a great opportunity to join a busy, growing business in a rewarding new role. We’re looking for someone to join us on a full-time permanent basis in our Clydebank warehouses.

This role requires someone physically capable of moving full pallets using a pallet truck, stripping down and re-stacking pallets, being on their feet for most of the day and when carrying out deliveries to walk and climb stairs as required to reach our customers.

Pay: £12.04 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
