Creative Design Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Graphic Lead to join our creative brand design team. As the Creative Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the design process in collaboration with the wider ecommerce and brand team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality creative solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Design Strategy and Leadership: Develop and execute the design strategy in conjunction with other stake holders, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
- Concept Development and Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, and target audience. Generate innovative design concepts and oversee their execution, ensuring high-quality visual deliverables across various platforms.
- Brand Identity and Visual Communication: Maintain and enhance the brand identity through consistent and visually appealing designs. Create impactful visual communication materials, including logos, packaging, marketing collateral, and digital assets.
- Creative Direction and Collaboration: Provide creative direction and guidance to designers, ensuring their work reflects the brand's vision and values. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to develop design solutions that meet business objectives.
- Quality Control and Design Standards: Ensure all designs meet established quality standards and brand guidelines. Conduct regular reviews to provide feedback and guidance for improvement. Stay updated with design trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including printers and vendors, to ensure seamless execution of design projects.
- Design Research and Innovation: Conduct market research to identify emerging design trends and incorporate them into the creative process. Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the design team.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with marketing, branding, and product development teams to understand their needs and provide design support. Effectively communicate design concepts, ideas, and project progress to stakeholders at all levels.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and impactful designs.
- Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a creative team.
- Strong conceptual thinking and ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across various design projects.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Salary**: From £40,000.00 per year
