I am working with an award-winning property company who are looking for Associate Auction Specialists to join their fast growing team. Working in partnership with over 2,500 estate agents across the UK, this role is home or office based, or could be a combination of both.

You will be responsible for building the relationship with partner estate agents; encourage estate agent to send leads (list houses); help vendors to see the value in the service proposition (sell houses). An Associate Auction Specialist generally has 12 months to progress to recognition as an Auction Specialist but can progress in a shorter timeframe if all requirements are met. This role is fundamentally similar to that of an Auction Specialist but there will be limitations to the level of partner managed and the range of activity until the mandatory requirements are met.

The position attracts a basic salary of £20,000 with guaranteed earnings of £28,000 and a realistic OTE of £45,000, 40 hours a week 9-5:30pm with occasional Saturday’s (9am - 2pm) rota’d once fully trained and competent. This is a UK based role.
- Build upon and develop new or existing relationships with our partner estate agents.
- Maintain high levels of engagement across your partner agent portfolio.
- Educate partner agents on the benefits of the company proposition for auction.
- Attend and complete successfully ‘The Academy’.
- Engage all development opportunities relative to role and actively seek out best ways of working.
- Encourage partner estate agents to speak to vendors about the benefits of the service proposition; if not the Associate themselves.
- Educate vendors on the benefits of auctions and how it could be a better route to sell their property.
- Familiarise yourself with the available marketing support library and agree marketing strategy in partnership with your portfolio of partner estate agents to generate potential buyers and vendors.
- Handle all offer negotiations on behalf of the partner estate agent with vendors and buyers in accordance with current AML standards.
- Maintain a high level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively handle any stage one customer complaints from your own portfolio of properties ensuring a successful outcome.
- Professionally handle all financial transactions as per procedure.
- Liaise successfully and maintain open dialogue with all other relevant internal departments to ensure a seamless service for the customer.
- Adhere and strive to succeed in the framework of monthly and quarterly KPIs and targets.
- To immediately advise your Group Finance Director of any issues that have been brought to your attention about any matter regarding Money Laundering or deemed to be out of the ordinary.
- To carry out any ad hoc activities as requested by your Line Manager that are within your skill set and experience.

The skills required for this Associate Auction Specialist role will include:

- 2-3 years estate agency sales experience

- Full Driving License essential and own car
