**Systems Architect - Windows Desktop & Active Directory SME- London**
**6 months+ ** Hybrid working model**
Global financial services client is looking for a Windows Desktop SME to join their team on a contract basis. You will have a proven ability to **build desktop architectures from scratch** and be responsible for the analysis, troubleshooting, implementation, administration, security, maintenance and 3rd line support of the company's Windows Desktop / Active Directory system. The role demandsa high level of hands-on technical knowledge of Windows security.
Skills and experience required:
- Lead experience in Windows Desktop implementation projects, Windows upgrade projects, patching, packaging, deploying apps, scripting, and 3rd line troubleshooting.
- AppSense Application Control, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Symantec Altiris software deployment solution
- In-depth working knowledge of Windows 10 O/S platform
- In-depth experience with Active Directory
- Hands-on knowledge of security components, SEP and AppSense
- Proven ability to build desktop architectures from scratch
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) authority with configuring and implementing Windows O/S software.
- VM or VDI platform knowledge advantageous
- Strong scripting skills - Java, Python
- Knowledge of Windows security constructs and ability to design the implementation of security products
- Strong documentation experience
