**Trainee Tax Associate | No experience required**

A superb local firm are looking to recruit a motivated, self-starter, who thrives in finding solutions, building great client relationships and working in a collaborative team.

In this role you will work with the team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of personal tax in the main, but also other compliance tax services such as p11d benefit in kind forms**.**This will include:

- Complete standard income tax returns to required level.
- Complete other compliance services such as the preparation of P11ds.
- Use standard letters where required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and HM Revenue & Customs.
- To regularly update appropriate tax spreadsheets / databases.
- Ability to complete all work within the allocated time scales.
- Complete time sheets accurately and on a timely basis.
- Potential ownership of a particular role within the Tax team.
- To attend selected Rouse organised Tax updates held internally for CPD.

The ideal person for this role will be well organised and able to work to agreed timescales, whilst having the ability to actively engage with clients. You will:

- Have effective use of IT including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Attitude to question and improve knowledge and understanding.
- Be able to communicate effectively face to face and over the phone with clients and 3rd parties.
- Be analytical and have the ability to learn within a new environment.
- Be self-motivated to learn and consider future training opportunities.
- Take responsibility for work tasks and quality, managing own workload and deadlines under supervision.
- Show enthusiasm and commitment to undertaking tasks as required and in particular in seeing tasks through to completion.
- Maintain professional standards of conduct and practice.
- Work to deadlines while maintaining workload by prioritising and ability to multitask.
- Be a team player.
- Grades B or above - GCSE English and Maths.
- Grades C or above - 3 A 'Levels.
- Grades B or above - If taken Maths/English at A 'Level.
- Minimum of Grade 2 - 1.
