An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and ambitious **Sales Controller** at SLM Select Norwich, our Specialist Used Car and Lexus Aftersales centre

- **Salary**: £45,000 OTE

We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated to join our SLM Select team as a **Sales Controller**. The role involves leading the team of Customer Consultants in a fast-paced environment, working towards hitting your own targets and monitoring your team’s targets. Our SLM Select team of Customer Consultants guide customers throughout their entire journey with us, through the vehicle sales and aftersales processes.

**Key Job Areas of the Sales Controller role**:

- Motivate and lead the team to achieve key targets
- Achieve individual unit and profit targets
- Build rapport and create a bespoke customer experience
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on products and services provided
- Follow sales processes to ensure compliance
- Maintain high customer focus levels
- Monitor staff training needs
- Work as a full member of the dealership team supporting both Sales and Aftersales activities.

**What we’re looking for in a Sales Controller**:

- Previous experience in motor trade sales
- Previous experience of working to, and successfully achieving targets
- Ability to work as part of, and lead a team
- Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service/people skills delivering services to high standards
- Must have flexible, hands on ‘can do’ approach
- Knowledge of sales principles and methods
- Open minded and inquisitive to future growth and development opportunities.

SLM Select is part of SLM Group which started as a family company and has grown to include sites across East Sussex, Kent, Norfolk and Suffolk.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £45,000.00 per year
