Goldwell Manor will soon be opening it’s doors to fabulous residents and we are therefore seeking a passionate, driven **Head of Housekeeping **to ensure the home is kept presentable and fabulous. With the needs of the residents being the sole inspiration for this purpose built home, you will find a pub for residents, private dining areas, landscaped gardens and much more

With the desire to always improve and develop their staff skill set, you will be encouraged to progress and develop skills, qualifications and training with the support of the company, so no experience is required

**As Head of Housekeeping, you will receive;**:

- Up to **£9.58 per hour**, depending on skills and experience
- **40 hours **per week, guaranteed on a permanent contract
- **6 weekly rolling rota** (making it easy to plan that work/life balance)
- Based in Chesterfield - **S40 4AA**

**As a Housekeeper, your duties will involve;**:

- Working closely with the General Manager and other teams to maintain a cohesive approach to cleanliness and hygiene within the home
- Supporting and assisting your team in various cleaning, domestic and laundry duties including hoovering, dusting, waste management, ironing, washing, etc.
- Building and maintaining relationships with residents, knowing their likes/dislikes and how they like their home to be cleaned and arranged

**About you as a Head Housekeeper;**
- You’ll be the sort of person who doesn’t go out of the house without leaving a tidy bed
- As well as excellent leadership skills, you’ll have a methodical nature and great attention to detail
- Understanding of COSHH & a commitment to infection and prevention control
- Basic sewing skills and the ability to use essential cleaning equipment
