Section Foreman

**About the role**
Balfour Beatty Vinci** has an exciting opportunity for Section Foreman to join our team to working at our Sublot 7 Site.

**Role Purpose**:
The Section Foreman will interface with the workforce ensure all operatives are fully inducted/briefed on the Company’s Management systems and are fully competent to deliver in a safe manner.
**What you'll be doing**
- Carries out Safety and Environmental tours as required by the project H&S plan
- Contributes to accident/incident investigations. Directs the appropriate action arising (HFACS and four-page reports)
- Ensures that sufficient resources are allocated to the Works Section and that each has an appropriate level of ability
- Implements systems and processes to manage the quality of the constructive works
- Involved in the procurement of subcontractors and advises on commercial aspects/preferred attendance
**Who we're looking for**
- Understands Protocol with regard to Accident and Incident investigation
- Experienced in leading Safety & Environment Tours
- Experienced in planning shifts in line with EU regs. and section 61
- Able to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility.
- Successful experience at Section / General Foreman
- Understanding of Engineering principles
- Comprehensive understanding and experience of a wide range of construction techniques and best practices.
- Relevant CSCS Card
- Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management
