AirBench Ltd are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, internal technicalsales engineer to join our small team.

Based in our Colchester office, you will be responsible for handling all incoming customer communications; supporting customers across a wide range of industries; working with them to identify appropriate solutions from our market leading range of dust, fume, and mist extraction products.

You will be customer focussed, and enjoy high levels of customer contact to help specify and sell our products. This role is office based, with occasional customer visits or exhibitions to support.

Key responsibilities will be:

- Become familiar with our market leading range of dust, fume, and mist extraction units.
- Be the initial point of contact for customer queries.
- Develop and close sales of all product ranges to help achieve company sales targets.
- Produce quotes for new units, spares, service as appropriate.
- Work closely with other members of the sales team to ensure all customers are cared for fully and professionally.
- Maintain customer records and CRM system
- Provide technical advice to existing and potential customers.

The right applicant will have, and be able to demonstrate through experience, the following skills:

- strong sales and customer relationship skills.
- driven and able to motivate yourself and others.
- technically minded, with the ability to understand a range of manufacturing and engineering processes.
- ability to understand technical concepts
- high standard of written and spoken English
- good level of ability in Microsoft Word and Excel
- driving license

Experience of manufacturing industry is essential. Experience of dust and fume extraction sales is not essential as on-the-job training can be provided for the right person.

You must be comfortable working in a small company with a close-knit team.

Compensation is competitive and depends on experience. A bonus scheme will be in place to reward strong sales performance.

This role is initially for up to 18 months to cover maternity leave, plus training and handover time. However, the role will be extended for the right person as we are always looking to add talented people to our team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Performance bonus
