Quality Technician
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Technician to join a manufacturing company based in Churchfield Industrial Estate, Salisbury. This is a full time, permanent position
Responsibilities as a Quality Technician:
- Planning, design and implementing activities according to standard requirements
- Performing final inspection of product in accordance with inspection plan
- Perform gravimetric testing for production and pre-production items
- Inspect and approve incoming materials by conducting visual and measurement test, confirming specifications, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Ensuring results are documented by processing reports and logs
- Report results to the Quality team where quality issues are identified
- Support the production team with product quality related issues and assist with product knowledge and decision making
- Cooperate with Quality team with customer, supplier and internal quality concerns
- Process control assessments such as process checks throughout products against set quality criteria
- Perform product and process audits
Requirements for Quality Technician:
- Previous experience in quality control/ assurance
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience with Microsoft packages
- Experience with using a measuring equipment is desirable
- Internal auditor training is desirable
- Organised with a high level of attention to detail
Our client is offering a negotiable salary, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am - 16:00pm. This is a permanent position and is a full time role.
