**Maintenance Caretaker**

**Sanctuary Students, Dundee**

**£9,533 to £10,034 per annum**

**14.5 hours per week - 2 days per week**

**The role of Maintenance Caretaker will include**:

- Undertake reactive basic repairs and maintenance duties in student accommodation, undertaking repairs and reporting issues which require specialist attention
- Ensuring statutory compliance is maintained including carrying out Fire Alarm Tests, emergency Lighting and water hygiene, ensuring they are all completed in a timely manner Record keeping in line with standard operations procedures
- Assisting the management team with flat inspections and audits to ensure safe and secure environments in line with Health and Safety and emergency procedures and regulations.
- Ensuring the standard of cleanliness of the site is maintained including waste management and cleaning in accordance with specific site requirements and schedules
- Act as first point of contact to our customers, responding positively to complaints and service breakdowns**

**Skills and experiences**:

- Experience within a caretaking or maintenance role is essential
- Practical skills in identifying and /or carrying out basic repairs
- Working knowledge of health and safety
- Excellent communication skills allowing you to provide great customer service
- Ability to interpret written instructions, maintain simple written records and assess priorities to then a plan work schedule effectively
