JHE & Partners are excited to be working with a hugely successful manufacturing company based near Harrogate as they look to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join them on a temporary basis initially.
Offering flexible hours, this is a busy role in a great finance team. If you are looking for an interesting, challenging role in a friendly team, this is the one Applicants will ideally be free to start work no later than early November.
Following a period of growth, the purpose of this role is to support the finance team with the Purchase and Sales Ledgers, whilst also covering other key area's of finance during busy periods. Key duties and responsibilities are outlined below:
The individual will be responsible for:
- Processing and maintaining the accounts receivable & payable ledgers
- Raising sales invoices, credit control, proforma deposit and balance requests
- Processing bank payments from customers and bank reconciliations
- Updating purchase orders to invoices, processing supplier invoices and supplier statement reconciliations
- Setting up new suppliers and verifying bank details
- Sending out customer statements & assisting with reconciling customer accounts
- Helping with employee expense reconciliation
- lntercompany reconciliations and assisting the FC with month-end reconciliations and reporting
- Assisting with other finance admin such as managing customer cheques and processing physical invoices
The person should have
- Experience of working in both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- MS Excel Skills
- MS NAV Dynamics experience is desirable but not essential
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
